Cristina Vidoni

Cello

Born in Udine (Italy) in 1989, she starts playing cello at the age of 6 with Prof. E. Francescato, under the guidance of whome, she gains in 2009 the Diploma with full marks, “cum laude” and special mention at the “J. Tomadini” Music Conservatory. Beside her academic music studies, she partecipates in masterclasses and workshops with several reknown cellists, such as E. Bronzi, M. Brunello, E. Dindo, M. Flaksman, M. Scano, L. Franzetti, W. Panhofer, O. Mueller. In 2011 her cello studies go on in Switzerland, in the class or R. Rosenfeldat the Musik Hochschule Basel; here, in 2013, she gets the “Master in Music Performance”. The approach to the baroque cello dates back to many courses with W. Vestidello and it develops in years thanks to the rich old music field in Basel: the experience of Schola Cantorum in the class of C. Coin and P. Skalka let her reach again a “Master in Music Performance” (2015) for “Violoncello in Alte Mensur”. In 2014 she plays together with Quatuor Mosaïques for the opening concert season of Palazzetto Bru Zane in Venice. Several masterclasses also with M. Testori, M. Valli and M. Ceccato and frequent collaborations with baroque ensembles as Il Pomo d’ oro, Ensemble Cafè Zimmermann, Ars Musica Zuerich (Sabrina Frey), Accordone Ensemble (Guido Morini), Cappella Neapolitana (Toni Florio), and with Ensemble Pulcinella (Ophélie Gaillard) also as soloist at the Festival de Sablè for a concert dedicated to Vivaldi Cello concertos."
