Lola Fernández Mateos


Born in Madrid in 1987, she finished her studies at the Superior Conservatory of Aragón, years in which she complemented her training by being part of orchestras such as Gustav Mahler Jugendorchester, the Joven Orquesta de Nacional de España, the Orquesta Escuela del Teatro Real, the ORTVE or the Castilla y León Orchestra. Upon finishing his studies in classical viola, he specialized in the branch of early music and historical interpretation, first completing a higher degree at the Escola Superior de Música de Cataluña with Emilio Moreno and later at the Schola Cantorum Basiliensis with Amandine Beyer, first doing a Master's degree specialized in historical viola and another on violin and viola d'amore. She complements hes studies by taking part in training academies such as the European Union Baroque orchestra, Formation Supérieure au métier de l'orchester classique et romantique, Ambronay or the Montis Regalis Academy. She is currently part of different orchestras such as il Pomo d’oro, Le Concert des Nations (Jordi Savall) or Cappella Mediterránea (Leonardo García Alarcón) and Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century and collaborates with various chamber groups such La Real Capilla, Musica Fiorita or La Ritirata.
